Day 1
Arrive Nairobi
Met at Jomo Kenyatta and taken to your hotel. An easy first evening, with the Giraffe Centre or the elephant orphanage if you land early.
Day 2-4
Masai Mara
Three nights in the Mara. Morning and late-afternoon game drives, big cats, and in season the herds massed along the Mara River. An optional balloon safari at dawn.
Day 5
Lake Nakuru
Rift Valley drive to Nakuru — rhino country, flamingos on the shore and Rothschild’s giraffe.
Day 6-7
Amboseli
Two nights below Kilimanjaro. Great elephant herds on the open pans and the mountain clearing at dawn and dusk.
Day 8
Departure
Drive or fly back to Nairobi for your onward flight.

What is the best time to visit Masai Mara?
July to October for the migration, January to March for game is generally the best window for this trip in terms of weather and sightseeing. We can also advise on off-season dates where the same itinerary costs considerably less.
Is the Kenya Safari suitable for families and senior citizens?
Yes. We adjust drive times, add rest days and choose hotels with lifts and accessible rooms when the group includes children or elderly travellers. Mention it in your enquiry and the itinerary is rebuilt around it.
