Day 1
Arrive Srinagar
Met at the airport and taken to your houseboat. A late-afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake and a walk through the Mughal gardens.
Day 2
Gulmarg
Through pine forest to Gulmarg. Gondola up to Kongdoori, snow in season, and back to Srinagar by evening.
Day 3
Pahalgam
A full day in the Lidder valley — Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari, with long stretches of time simply by the river.
Day 4
Sonmarg
The meadow of gold, and Thajiwas glacier on foot or by pony for those who want it.
Day 5
Srinagar, slowly
Shankaracharya temple, Hazratbal, Pari Mahal and the old city — including the workshops where the shawls and papier-mâché are actually made.
Day 6
Departure
Transfer to Srinagar airport, with a saffron-field stop if the timing allows.
