Heels on Wheels was founded by Renuka. We design slow, considered travel across India and the world — and we take on only as many journeys as we can genuinely look after.
It began with friends asking Renuka to plan their trips — because she would actually walk the route first, argue with a hotel about a bad room, and tell someone honestly when a destination was wrong for them. Word travelled the way it always does: slowly, and then all at once.
What grew out of that is a travel atelier rather than a booking counter. We do not run a shop window of fixed packages. We sit with you, work out how you actually like to travel, and build the journey from a blank page.
Everyone. Solo travellers taking a first trip alone. Couples on honeymoon. Families moving three generations at once. Groups of friends who have been promising each other this trip for years. Company teams on an offsite. Travellers in their seventies who want the pace slowed down and the paperwork handled.
We are known for women-first standards — vetted partners, female-led ground teams, discreet round-the-clock support — and we run women-only departures because many travellers specifically ask for them.
